Any interested party may submit an entry for consideration
Interested parties may be a converter, supplier, educator or consultant who has significantly advanced converting technology, business practices, industry education or standards development in 2008
One award-winner will be named.
All industry professionals involved in the converting industry, including but not limited to flexible packaging, paperboard & folding carton, tag and label, digital workflow, package printing, and training/education, are eligible for entry
Project/implementation (or significant phases of a phased rollout) must have been completed between July 2007 and December 2008.
Submit an Entry Form along with a description of the individual, specific project/activity qualifying them as the Converter of the Year, and their company details (1,000 words maximum). Description must include name of individual, biography of individual, company information, history of the project/activity, project/activity details, major participants (customer, vendor, consultants, etc.), and reasons the project/activity should be considered for Converter of the Year. Include significant dates (contract signing, project start, project completion/go-live date) in the project/activity description.
Entry Form must be filled out in its entirety.
All individuals will be judged based on size/scope of project; level of innovation used; benefit to the converting industry, its customers and the converting industry as a whole; and clarity of the written entry description.
Award winners will be recognized in an exclusive feature article on CMM Online portal (http://www.cmmonlineportal.com/index.html) in March 2009, as well as in the CMM International 2009 onsite show guide, with an award presentation during the CMM International 2009 Conference & Exhibition in Rosemont, IL, June 1-4, 2009.
